HEISMAN TROPHY CHICKEN WINGS

These wings marinate for 24 hours in a delightful oriental sauce that makes them fit to win their own Heisman Trophy.

1 cup plus 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
3/4 cup plum sauce
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup dry sherry
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons minced garlic
4 lbs. chicken wings, tips removed

In large bowl combine hoisin sauce through garlic. Add chicken wings and marinate in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line baking pan with foil. Grease baking rack and place on foil lined pan. Drain chicken wings, reserving marinade. Arrange wings on rack, and bake 30 minutes. Remove from oven.
Preheat broiler. Turn wings and baste with reserved marinade. Broil 30 minutes, turning and basting every 5 minutes, until golden brown. Serve hot or at room temperature.
