NEUTRAL ZONE NACHOS

These are not your 'per say' normal nachos. Corn chips and lettuce surround a platter of refried beans, seasoned ground beef, Jack cheese, onions, tomatoes, and black olives. A mound of sour cream and guacamole tops it all off. Serve with your favorite salsa on the side.

1 lb. ground beef
1 envelope taco seasoning
3/4 cup water
2 cans refried beans
2 cups grated Monterey Jack cheese
1 large onion, chopped
1 1/2 cups chopped lettuce
1 large onion, chopped
1 can black olives, sliced
1 cup sour cream
1 cup guacamole dip
2 packages large corn chips
Salsa

Cook beef, drain. Add seasoning packet and water. Heat for 5 minutes. Spread beans on pizza pan or large platter, covering entire surface. Spread beef over and bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Cover with cheese. Bake until cheese melts. Place ring of lettuce around, 2 inches from edge. Sprinkle with onion, tomato and olives. Put mound of sour cream in center and guacamole on top of that. Arrange corn chips around outer edge. Serve salsa on the side.
